How to Get to Woodview

How to get to us.From the south, take the road to Ennistymon out of Ennis. Then go though Ennistymon and onto Lisdoonvarna, about 10 km's distant. We are situated 1km from Lisdoonvarna, on the main N67 road. Conveniently located for access to the coast road for views of Galway Bay, Connemara and the Aran Islands. Coming from Galway, when you are at the Town Square turn right, follow this road for 1km. We are on the left just after the coast road sign.

Lisdoonvarna and North Clare

The town is a focal point of North Clare. Situated 4 miles from the sea and is Ireland's only operating Spa, famous for its sulphur, iron, magnesia and copperas mineral springs.

The Spa - Lisdoonvarna's Spa Wells Health Centre is only five minutes walk from the Town. Retaining it's Victorian character, it has been an attraction for over 100 years to people from all over the world, looking to relax in the invigorating spa waters. It is open from June until September and I would strongly advise a visit.

A Bloody CransbillThe Burren - The 400 sp. miles of limestone rock formed by the great geological upheavals of the last ice age have formed the area on which Lisdoonvarna stands on the edge. Often described as a lunar-like landscape, there are many signs of ancient man. Dolmens and megalithic graves scatter the landscape. There are many botanical rarities and unusual fauna too.

Music & Entertainment - County Clare is renowned for its music and is often termed the 'Home of traditional Irish music'. Music and entertainment is provided every night in the local pubs and bars. Doolin, only 5 km away, is another great spot for music. If you would enjoy Irish set dancing, we would be delighted to show you where and how it is done.

Other Attractions in the region include - swimming, golf, surfing, pony trekking, coarse and sea fishing, caving, cycling, walking, water sports, landscape painting and many more
